We don’t have to use coconuts to survive, but there is definitely a place for it on your menu. Simply freeze it in the ice cube tray so you can mix it with your favorite fruits, yogurts and milks for a refreshing beverage naturally packed with electrolytes that your body needs. You don’t have to get it directly from the coconut yourself; rather it can be purchased at just about any store in convenient single serve or larger containers. You can find coconut water mixed with natural flavors, fruit juices, or simply plain and simple on it’s own. The stay fresh packaging can often be stored in your fridge or pantry for a long time and you won’t have to worry about running out if you stock up when it is on sale to maximize your buying power.
